Course Overview
RTCA has teamed with Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research (WSU-NIAR) to offer another high-quality training covering RTCA’s security documents DO-326A and DO-356A. This course describes what Airworthiness Security is and why it is important. It also explains which FAA Regulations, standards, etc. will require these documents and procedures as well as how to use these standards. The course covers what the standards are meant to prevent and how these standards and processes fit into the aviation system.
Course participants are given examples of how to apply these standards methodically by the use of the step-by-step processes. This course also covers how these requirements are driven by Design Assurance Level requirements and systems/functional critically, as well as how to obtain FAA certification in these areas. The students will perform real-world exercise to apply the knowledge from the class.
