RTCA is launching a Call for Participation to gather interest from members and non-members regarding Special Committee 242, Spectrum Compatibility.

RTCA SC-242 will work jointly with EUROCAE WG-124, to develop guidance material on spectrum use and best practices in aviation.
It is tasked with developing:
• A Guidance Document providing guidelines for standards related to spectrum management to be applied by any WG/SC whose activity is related to spectrum
• A document explaining aerospace constraints impacting spectrum management
