RTCA is announcing a 7-webinar series, occurring the 3rd Wednesday of each month starting June 17, 2020. The webinars will be broadcast live at 1 PM ET.
RTCA’s annual Symposium was canceled this June due to COVID-19. “While we will miss the industry coming together in person at the Symposium next month, we look forward to the new webinar series as an opportunity to connect with our audience on a more regular basis,” says Terry McVenes, President and CEO of RTCA. “We have an incredible line up of speakers covering emerging technologies and important updates for the aviation industry, and there will be opportunities for audience interaction.”
The complimentary webinar series will feature talks and interviews with government leaders, panel discussions with aviation executives, committee awards and short Tech Talks on transformational topics. Leaders will discuss Commercial Space, Artificial Intelligence, Challenges with Spectrum, Counter UAS Measures, Electric Propulsion Vehicles, Modernizing the NAS and more.
The inaugural webinar, June 17, kicks off with a talk by Wayne R. Monteith, FAA Associate Administrator for Commercial Space and other sessions. July’s featured speaker is the Honorable Robert L. Sumwalt, Chairman of NTSB. Registration is required for the webinars, but there is no fee to attend. The agenda, schedule and other details can be found on the Symposium Agenda Page.
