SC-228 supports the safe integration of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System by developing minimum operational performance standards (MOPS) for Detect and Avoid (DAA) equipment, Command and Control (C2) Data Link Systems, and Navigation Systems. Their standards focus on civil UAS operations, including those in Class A, C, D, E, and G airspace.
